VectaBass is a bootstrapped startup (2 founders and an executive chairman). We build AI agent-powered applications for regulated industries - finance, insurance, and professional services.

The Role

What we're looking for.

We need deep experience in:

SaaS deployment split architecture (what's client-side vs company IP)
Cloud deployment methods (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK)
On-prem deployment patterns
Cross-account AWS architectures
Air-gapped and data-plane isolation patterns

Responsibilities

Assess our current AWS platform architecture
Architect the deployment split between client-side and company IP
Build foundational templates and infrastructure code
Document deployment patterns for various client environments

Requirements

Deep experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
Proficiency in AWS (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)
Understanding of air-gapped and data-sovereignty requirements
Comfortable reading and writing Python and JavaScript
Experience with regulated industries is a plus

Compensation

We're bootstrapped and can't pay market rates. We can offer a daily rate for a short term engagement, equity with a monthly retainer or future revenue share - or make a suggestion that works for you.
